Zeikhour runners are quite rare and some antique examples are available. The blue St. Andrew’s Cross field is unusual in that the crosses are laterally reduced, therefore incomplete along their sides, but the background devices are still abundant. There is no main border, but instead two Zeikhour wave borders of equal size:red/yellow and medium blue/ivory.The stylized triangle design minor guards and red and white and red and yellow barber pole lines add charm to the piece. All the colors are from natural sources. The condition is good and there is no central wear along the length of the rug,so common in runners.

THROUGH OUR EFFORTS TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY IMAGES, WE USE VERY HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS. IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE WHOLE RUG PLEASE TRY REFRESHING THE PAGE – SOME LONG RUGS MAY NOT FIT WITHOUT ZOOMING.
