The midnight blue field displays two characteristic St. Andrew’s Crosses amid a background scatter of rosettes, leaves, floral elements and other geometric devices.Outstanding is a beautiful clear yellow in the outlines and other significant details.Another unusual tone is a burnt orange ground of the inner border. The main border is decorated with the iconic Zeikhour wave pattern in ivory and blue.At each end is a blue flatweave and broad knotted ivory warp net.Unlike many other Zeikhours, the piece is in a small scatter size. All the colors are from natural sources. The condition of the rug is very good.
