Size: 4′.6"x4′.1" (137×124 cm)

"Yuruk" is Turkish for tribal nomad and this rug was woven by a Kurdish group using design elements found in Ladik prayer rugs from farther west.Both the three pointed upper panel,the tulip and van dyke lower section are artistic adaptations from more urban rugs.The main salmon border displays a rosette and vine pattern.The wool is of excellent quality and the dyes are clear.All the colors are from natural sources.The handle is soft and pliable.The rug is in good condition.SOLD
