The ivory border shows at each end incomplete stars in shades of red,shades of green,navy,burgundy and black.This particularly lush example hosts a navy field with two complete hooked and nested lozenges and six incomplete similar motifs.In the main border there are additional smaller lozenges and dots.Both minor borders show bead patterns on red ground.At the top end is a striped flatweave in red and white.The wide selvedges are in dark brown and red.All the colors are from natural and vegetable sources.The piece has a soft and pliable handle.The wool is velvety and the bag is in good condition.
