This tiny Veramin soumak bagface shows a large red eight pointed star with burnt orange and blue fillers.The relatively wide border system employs an innermost cream surround with a chain of navy diamonds.Beyond is a running dog repeat in blue and brown and a wider frame in dark brown,burnt orange and red floating diamonds.There are four solid lines and interesting selvedges in brown and blue.At each end is an additional bitonal herringbone strip followedm by brown flatweave.The handle is soft and pliable and the weave is tight.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.SOLD
