Tekke torba from western Turkmenistan

Six characteristic guls are quartered in ecru and burnt orange with details in navy,on a red field with poled chemche minor guls between.The tonally en suite border shows hooked boxes.There are two quincunx guard lines in the border system.At each end is a plain field tone strip and there is a fine kilim at one end.Unusually this torba is small for the type.The handle is soft and pliable.All the colors are from natural and vegetable sources.The condition is good except for a missing corner.
