Tekke twelve gul torba from western Turkmenistan

This classic twelve gul Tekke torba shows medallions in ivory,burnt apricot,navy and red and the secondary chemche guls are connected with small diamonds.The main border employs hooked rectangles centered by rosettes.On all four sides is a field tone plain strip and the kilim end is hemmed under.The other end has red and navy dashes.The piece is finely woven and the handle is pliable.All the colors are from natural and vegetable sources.There is a small patch on one side otherwise the piece is in good condition.SOLD
