The blue ground contains an elegant ivory niche arch over a lozenge lattice of stylized flowers. The wide ivory main border prominently displays an angular kufic pattern and is flanked by red and navy reciprocal and stylized diamonds and "Z" design minor guards..The elegant inner black and blue connected "S" minor border surrounds the field while the outer one surrounds the whole. The naive charm of this rug makes it eminently collectible. The condition is very good and the original knotted ends are present.
