This version of the popular ivory Shirvan prayer rug employs an overall pattern of unattached, hooked diamonds with ancillary dots and other elements under a pointed arch joined to the inner border.A small version of the pattern fills the spandrels. The red border is in the calyx and slant leaf design. The colors are from natural sources and very attractive. The condition is good with original side finishes.See number 252 for a similar example.
