The navy field displays a Karagashli influence pattern of eight stepped lozenges enclosing red and yellow flattened hexagons. Each is centered by a simple rosette.Filler elements include snowflakes, lazy S’s and diamonds. The field is edged by colorful shades. The innermost ivory tertiary border slips at one side,a desirable irregularity sought after by connoisseurs. The red abrashed main border shows a Kufesque pattern in dark blue of knots and brackets. The flanking dark brown minor borders employ wheel like motifs. Both tertiary ivory borders show S patterns. At the top end is a red flatwoven strip followed by a macrame warp band. The handle is meaty and chunky. All the colors are from natural sources. The condition of this big carpet is good.
