The classic winged shield design is executed in royal blue with an internally hooked ivory surround.The abrashed red ground displays yellow,green,ivory, and dark blue trees in each corner.In the medallion there are stylized palmettes,each of which encloses two animals,and there are green squares with multicolor hooks in the wings.There are three borders:the inner and outer share a multicolor mosaic triangle pattern and center an ivory and dark brown reciprocal running dog band.There are four two tone barber pole lines in the border system.All the colors are from natural sources.The pile is high and the handle is pliable.The rug is in very good condition including the original ends and sides.SOLD
