This fine wool warp Senneh kilim has a dark blue field densely patterned with floriated botehs.The ivory lozenge medallion displays a Herati design and boldly drawn pendants.The corners are in a multicolor cane motif.Detail colors include ivory,red,light blue,light green and light brown.The ivory main border employs stylized botehs and flower heads in alteration on a dark blue angular undulating vine.There are two leaf and simplified palmette minor borders and four dentate guard lines.Senneh kilims with wool warps are generally considered relatively early and are particularly uncommon.All the colors are from natural sources.The condition is good except for a couple of very small holes.SOLD
