The navy ground/field displays a three diamond pole medallion in which each ivory section features the characteristic Qashqai Gul.At one end of the pole medallion is a small peach diamond and between large elements are ivory diamonds with different designs.The imaginative background fill includes:peacocks,chickens,goats,dogs,octagons,leaves,rosettes,palmettes and stars with one motif violating the inner peach border which is sought after by connoisseurs.The ivory main border shows a rosette and flower design but transitions into a differing rosette pattern,and finally presents a navy ground.There are two red and two peach minor borders,and at one end the border changes to connected diamonds design.The selvedges are in red and two shades of green in the characteristic Qashqai style.The handle is soft and pliable.All the colors are crystal clear and from natural sources.The conditon of this beautiful rug is good.SOLD
