Size: 7′.10"x5′.0" (239×152 cm)

The navy field is closely covered by small animals,birds including peacocks,oblique ivory leaves,rosettes,hooked diamonds and small squared colorful portraits of a male and female figures.The red spandrels continue the field pattern.This rug might have been made as part of the tribal wedding ceremonial.The ivory main border features rosettes,serrated slanted leaves and filler triangles.There are six subsidiary borders including a sky blue rosette and bar outer minor and an inner yellow rosette design and four yellow diagonal stripe guards.The selvedges are striped in the classic Qashqai manner.All the colors are from natural sources.The rug is in good condition.SOLD
