This fine Malayer saddle cover features a plain navy ground with triangular corners showing connected columnar floral patterns.The lower corners are in ivory whereas the uppers are in red.Additions to the field include:connected triangles along the sides;a stylized floral lozenge above the central slits and a narrow ivory S pattern surrounding the close horn slit.The ivory main border hosts reversing simple palmettes,botehs and other irregularities.There is a burgundy and blue triangle reciprocal minor border and several dotted narrow lines in the border system.The handle is pliable,the foundation is cotton and the pile is wool.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition but has minor repairs.SOLD
