The tomato madder red field shows the classic Lori Pambak pattern of a central ivory octagonal medallion with a green,red and yellow central cruciform.It is flanked by green and red internally hooked shield shapes.At each corner is a yellow and light brown element typical of this type.There are several small boxes,stars,diamonds and other interesting motifs in the field which is edged by a green reciprocal wave pattern.The ivory main border displays extremely stylized floral shapes and is flanked by blue ground minor borders with red and white diamonds.There are four bitonal narrow barber pole lines in the border system.The handle is pliable and the wool is extremely soft and velvety.All the colros are from natural sources.The rug is in good condition.SOLD
