The tomato red field displays two octagonal Lori Pambak style medallions flanking a dark blue stepped cartouche central medallion with eight internal stepped red motifs and a central cruciform design.Scattered around are hooked diamonds,color samplers,tiny dots,hooked elements,and a variety of other geometric devices.The blue main border employs a version of the chalice and split slant leaf pattern and is flanked by keyhole reciprocals in ivory,red,green,aubergine and blue.There are four yellow and dark brown narrow barber pole lines in the border system.This cheerful rug has an especially attractive emerald green,aubergine and golden yellow.All the colors are from natural sources.It has a soft wool,thick pile and a good size.The rug is in good condition.SOLD
