Age: circa 1875

Measurements: 5′.5"x4′.2" (165×127 cm)

The ever popular Lesghi star pattern is here exemplified by three broad stars on a royal blue ground with secondary geometric elements closely filling the interstitial spaces.The kufesque ivory design is rendered on a red ground in the main border.There are two flanking diagonally striped minors.In addition there is an innermost ivory band with polychrome stars and a medium blue inner and a blue and black outermost minor.Furthermore,there is a red and white line surrounding the whole and five two tone barber pole stripes.All the colors are from natural sources.The condition is good and so is the pile.SOLD
