This unusually sized Lambalo Kazak rug presents an abrashed blue field centering a tall hexagonal red subfield containing three unusual medallions and four truncated anchor shapes.The red panel is vertically offset,edged with a barber pole pattern and along the sides of the fields are red triangular zigzags again surrounded with a narrow barber pole line.The classic ivory main border hosts a geometric version of the rosette,square and leaf pattern.It is flanked by dark blue minor borders with colorful floating rosettes.Additionally there are four barber pole lines in the border system.The handle is thick and meaty.The weave is moderate.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.SOLD
