The totaly plain tomato red field is edged by a dark brown and ivory serrated design.There are four significant patterned borders:an innermost green band with floating octagons;two dark blue stripes with an angular meander motif;and a major ivory frame with repeating colorful "coat" octagons.At the top right is a date of 1335.There are four yellow and red and ivory and red barber pole narrow lines in the border system.Detail colors include:green,yellow,navy,dark brown,ivory,oyster and a touch of aubergine.All the colors are from natural sources.The rug has a soft and pliable handle.The condition of this unique rug is good.SOLD
