This extremely colorful long rug displays a navy ground centered on seven joint lozenge pole medallion in which each panel has a nested stepped outline and ivory and red lozenges decorate the device.Lazy S’s,hooked diamonds and other geometric elements fill the field.The off white main border has a crab-like design in various colors and is flanked by minor borders with two distinct rosette patterns.The outermost ivory border has a small flower pattern.Accent colors include:camel,yellow,red,blue,ivory,green and navy.At each end is a widely knotted warp net.The balance between the field and borders is perfect.All the colors are from natural sources.The rug is in good condition.
