A close light blue and yellow hexagonal lattice design displays geometric rosettes in ivory,dark blue,yellow,red and green.At the inside edge of the field is an ivory sawtooth border.The ivory main border employs multicolor eight pointed stars separated by double hooked bars.The inside minor border has a diagonal stripe pattern and the red outer has a connected stretched S design.The attractive abrash (original color change) begins with red and follows with a light blue.At each end of the rug is a narrow strip of blue flatwoven soumak work followed by a knotted warp net.All the colors are from natural sources.The rug is in very good condition.
