Fars area weavers are very talented and wide ranging in their use of patterns. Here they have adapted a shawl textile design to their own usage. The ivory field is patterned with diagonal rows of multicolor botehs. The rainbow striped diagonal border also has its origin in textile patterns. All the borders are well placed and they are in harmony with the rest of the rug.The two tone chessboard end panels are intact and the rug is in good condition.

THROUGH OUR EFFORTS TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY IMAGES, WE USE VERY HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS. IF YOU CANNOT SEE THE WHOLE RUG PLEASE TRY REFRESHING THE PAGE – SOME LONG RUGS MAY NOT FIT WITHOUT ZOOMING.
