Four hooked lozenges in ivory and blue stand out on a beautiful red madder ground,flanked by small color sampler fillers.An attractive green keyhole reciprocal motif surrounds the center.The ivory main border employs broad hooked crosses a kin to those encountered on Talish long rugs.The blue outer minor border is in a rosette/ "S" pattern.There are three multicolor stripes in the border system.The rug has a peaceful,calming look.All the colors are from natural sources.It is in good state of preservation overall.
