The classic Memling-Gul pattern employs multicolor rectangular panels enclosing hooked octagons in a wide range of colors including,ivory,yellow,red,green,medium blue,brown and blue-green.There are both complete and fractional boxes separated by red and white barber pole lines and secondary quartered diamonds.The ivory main border displays octagons in the field colors and is flanked by red and blue and red and green keyhole reciprocal minors and several dotted stripes.All the colors are from natural sources.The handle is pliable but the rug is solid.The size is unique and the condition is very good.
