The prayer niche on this piece is indicated by the broad strap work band which also separates the field into five sections,each with square ivory or stepped red elements.There is a scatter of small ornaments on the green field.The colorful ivory ground crab border completes the composition.This type of Karatchoph is predominantly in blue tones,rather than the reds or yellows favored by the central medallion type.The condition is good overall.SOLD
