Size: 10″.0’x3′.7″ (305×109 cm)

This long rug is dated 1291 which corresponds to 1874 Christian date.The navy ground displays eleven stylized shield palmettes accented in:ivory,red,green and yellow.Surrounding is a line of small multicolor botehs and filling in are:arrows,flowers,diamonds and quincunxes.The main border shows a red and dark rose reciprocals flame pattern.There are two dark brown minor borders with undulating carnations and four ivory guard lines with floating S’s.At each end is a narrow warp macrame finish.The handle is flexible and the weave is fine.All the colors are from natural sources.This attractive piece is in good condition.SOLD
