This rug is one of a matched pair.The rugs are sold separately or as a set.

This finely knotted Persian city rug has an ivory field displaying a complex multilayered pattern of half dark blue cartouches and red quatrefoils.The well covered field features energetically coiled arabesques.The red main border has a sophisticated design of stylized palmettes,forked arabesques and cloudbands.There are minor borders in navy and olive with ribbon design and six patterned guard lines.Light blue,olive and red are among detail colors.The colors are crisp and vibrant.The rug has a fine and compact weave.This elegant piece is in good condition.
