This yellow ground north west Persian Heriz carpet shows a centralized pattern developing from an eight petal center which radiates palmettes and leaves.The broken vinery supports further leaves,rosettes,florets,botehs,buds and other formal floral elements.The ivory main border shows reversing turtles along with rosettes and boteh leaves.It is flanked by blue and yellow ground minor borders with reversing palmettes in various colors.There is an inner narrow red tertiary border present.All the colors are from natural sources.This piece is solid,is in good condition and can handle heavy traffic.
