The abrashed soft red field employs a bold version of the so-called Dragon design.Particularly striking are the wild sawtooth edgings of many of the important elements. In addition there are colorful stepped devices and a variety of rosettes, stars and geometric fillers. The brown main border has stepped octagons enclosing eight hooked motifs. The inner and outer yellow minor guards have a star and bar pattern and there is a red and brown running dog outermost edging. All the colors are from natural sources. The piece has some condition issues such as wear,a few small holes and a catalog size patch.
