The navy ground displays an ascending abstract palmette and leaf pattern in shades of red,blue,green,yellow,ivory and dark brown.Along the sides of the field are colorful hexagons enclosing hooked motifs.There are several small animals,birds,stretched lazy S’s and big botehs.The blue and ivory main border is in the characteristic Kuba wave pattern and is flanked by red and rose Kuba tendril pattern.There are several solid lines in the border system.At each end is an attractive knotted warp net.The handle is soft and meaty.All the colors are from natural and vegetable sources.The pile is high and the condition is good.SOLD
