This attractively sized Bidjar small carpet displays a tomato red madder field containing a dark blue eight point central medallion with a matching ivory submedallion and en suite corners.Palmettes,rosettes,flowers,leaves,blossoms and other stylized botanical designs fill the field.The ivory main border is extremely attractive and displays red and pink roses on thick tendrils.The minor borders in medium blue employ diagonal leaves and small palmettes.There are three reciprocal two tone guard stripes and a plain red outermost band.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.SOLD
