This beautiful Baluch prayer rug is tightly woven,well drawn and excellently colored.The botehs in the camel hair field reverse orientation in each row and there are scattered flowers,dots etc. to further enliven the pattern.The rosettes surround the mihrab while the hands in the spandrel panels show the prayer direction.The well delineated main border contrasts with the ivory minor stripe.Instead of the usual flatwoven ends,pile stripes of analogous pattern are employed.The general condition is excellent.SOLD
