The beautifully abrashed red field features two Crivelli star rosettes,lavishly hooked triangles,stars,boxes and rosettes.In addition there are partial surrounds of multicolored lappets.The corners of the field are counterchanged in blue and green.The unusual yellow main border features rosettes in various colors.There are two narrow barber pole lines in the border system.At each end is a soft madder flatwoven band followed by different color stripes.At the top end is a triangular pile talisman.All the colors are from natural sources.The handle is soft and pliable.The condition of this charming rug is good.SOLD
