The rug has a good balance and an interesting zig-zag design with medallions,on a deep navy field.We see stripes in Afshar rugs and this is an attractive version.The ivory main border employs colorful wheel motif and is flanked by multicolor minor borders.The stripes in the minor borders go well with those in the field.There are three ribbon like narrow borders and several barber pole lines present.All the colors are from natural sources.The rug is in good condition.SOLD
