This finely woven Afshar tribal scatter shows a red field hosting offset reversing rows of floriated botehs.Accent colors include:navy,yellow,green,blue and ecru.The navy main border employs doubly connected reversing palmettes in various colors and is flanked by ivory ground ribbon meander minor borders.There are four red and green narrow lines in the border system.At each end is a flatwoven band in pile colors.The surface is velvety.The edges are in red and green wool.All the colors are from natural sources.The piece is in good condition.
