The stepped diamond lattice displays panels in medium blue,dark blue,two shades of red,burgundy and brown.In one corner is a fractional yellow panel.Each section is centered by a stylized rosette with bud pendants.The red main border has a connected rosette and stylized palmette meander,while the ivory outer border is similar but slightly simpler in style,and the inner ivory minor border utilizes a wandering tendril and floral devices.There are three barber pole lines of varying widths.At each end is a colorful broad soumak technique band in a stepped arrowhead pattern.All the colors are from natural sources.The condition of the rug is good.
