Measurements: 7′.3"x4′.10" (221×147 cm)

This classic large Afshar rug has a blue field enclosing a stepped red hexagonal subfield which intern displays a complex,bold ivory and navy pole medallion.Naively drawn birds along with stylized flowers and hooked diamonds are well distributed throughout.Tiny animals flank the cartouches of the ivory main border and additional birds are scattered in the boteh and rosette inner border.There are seven additional borders:botehs;small stylized palmettes;connected diamonds;connected multicolor rosettes;and an inner ribbon border.The wool is soft and lush.The striped multicolor kilim ends are present and one end has the red and blue weft pattern line.All the colors are from natural sources.The condition is very good.SOLD
