Fachralo prayer Kazak rug from southwest Caucasus

The attractive red field shows a polychrome beetle pattern surrounding the dark blue shouldered floating prayer panel with nested red and ivory cartouche medallions.There are stars both in the central panel and in the cartouche.The ivory main border shows stepped triangle and chalice motif in red,green,yellow and blue.There are two minor borders in red and green and red and blue with reciprocal triangle patterns.There are four barber pole narrow lines in red and white and red and yellow present.All the colors are from natural sources.The red selvedges are original.The pile is high and the condition is good.
