Belutch prayer rug from Persia in perfect condition.The size is 4'.11"x2'.9" (150x0.84cm) unusual design,soft wool,circa 1890,good handle,nice colors and beautiful drawing.The piece is very attractive in many ways.The field design on a camel color has a lot of details in different colors and is in good harmony with the borders.The boxes which are at the either side of the mihrab are unusual and attractive.The ribbon design minor borders create a very elegant look.The side cords have goat hair which is quite common in Belutch weavings.The kilim ends are completely original with stripes in different colors.
